The highlight of his
research achievements.
He the Selfcomplementary antenna and
its constantimpedance property in 1948. The equation
which gives the
value of the constantimpedance is called
Mushiake relationship. With the extensions of this concept to
other cases he
creatively discovered a general principle, the
Principle of selfcomplementarity. His research group developed
various $B!H(Bextremely broadband antennas$B!I(B
as the application of this principle.
Also he proved the nonbroadband property of
incorrectly arranged logperiodic antenna.
