The highlight of his
research achievements.
He the Self-complementary antenna and 
its constant-impedance property in 1948. The equation
which gives the
value of the constant-impedance is called
Mushiake relationship. With the extensions of this concept to
other cases he
creatively discovered a general principle, the
Principle of self-complementarity. His research group developed
various $B!H(Bextremely broadband antennas$B!I(B
as the application of this principle.
Also he proved the non-broadband property of
incorrectly arranged log-periodic antenna.
